The Frames Dublin'nde kurulmuş İrlandalı rock grubudur. 1990'da Glen Hansard tarafından kurulan grup, İrlanda'nın önde gelen folk rock gruplarından biridir. Grup şu ana kadar altı albüme sahiptir. Kurucu olarak Hansard'ın yanı sıra grupta şu an Colm Mac Con Iomaire, Joe Doyle, Rob Bochnik ve Johnny Boyle bulunmaktadır.

Glen Hansard Once filminde halen sevgilisi olan Marketa Irglova ile birlikte başrolde yer almıştır."Once" ve filmdeki müthiş şarkı olan "falling slowly" ile oscar heykelciğini de kazanmışlardır. Marketa ve Glen ikilisi bu The Frames şarkısını süper yorumlamışlardır 2008'in en iyi şarkısıdır diyebiliriz.
